Lebenslauf
Studium der Elektro- und Informationstechnik an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum; 2010 Diplomarbeit am Lehrstuhl für Automatisierungstechnik und Prozessinformatik (ATP) mit dem Thema „Event-based Realisation of an Adaptive Control Scheme“. Seit März 2011 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am IRS.
Forschung
Entwicklung von Regelungsalgorithmen für eine prädiktive Batteriebetriebsführung
Seit einiger Zeit wird der Antrieb von Fahrzeugen mit Verbrennungsmotoren durch fossile Brennstoffe zunehmend abgelöst durch hybride Antriebslösungen und rein elektrisch angetrieben Fahrzeugen, bei denen eine hohe Anzahl von Lithium-Ionen-Einzelzellen zu einer Batterie zusammengeschaltet werden. Dabei bestimmt meist die schwächste Zelle in der Kette die Grenzen des Leistungsvermögens der Gesamtbatterie im Elektroauto und damit die erzielbare Fahrreichweite.
Ziel des Forschungsprojektes ist es, prädiktive modellgestützte Regelungsalgorithmen und -verfahren zu entwickeln, die eine optimale Prozessführung der Batterie ermöglichen. Bisherige Verfahren sind vornehmlich auf stationäre Anwendungen bei Lade-/Entladezyklen ausgelegt. Durch die Rekuperations- und Traktionsfälle im laufenden Betrieb ergibt sich ein weiterer Betriebszustand, der berücksichtigt werden muss und Bestandteil des Forschungsprojektes zur Entwicklung von intelligenten Regelungsstrategien ist.
