Lebenslauf
Geboren 1988 in Heidelberg; Abitur 2007 am Technischen Gymnasium mit Profil Informationstechnik der Hubert-Sternberg-Schule in Wiesloch. Ab 2008 Studium der Elektro- und Informationstechnik am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT); Bachelorarbeit 2012 am Institut für Biomedizinische Technik (IBT) über den Einfluss der Herzrate auf die Repolarisationsmechanismen des menschlichen Herzens; Auszeichnung der Bachelorarbeit mit dem Research Student Award. Ab 2012 Masterstudium der Elektro- und Informationstechnik am KIT mit Schwerpunkten in den Bereichen Systemtheorie, Regelungstechnik und Signalverarbeitung; Forschungstätigkeiten über die Analyse von Zeitreihen mittels Methoden der Finanzmathematik; Betreuung verschiedener Lehrveranstaltungen; praktische Tätigkeiten am ABB Corporate Research Center in Ladenburg; 2014 Masterarbeit am Institut für Regelungs- und Steuerungssysteme (IRS) über die garantierte Zustandsbeobachtung nichtlinearer Systeme; Auszeichnung der Masterarbeit mit dem Diplomandenpreis der SEW-EURODRIVE-Stiftung.
Von 2015 bis 2020 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am IRS. Promotion über die automatisierte Erzeugung von Modellen und Beobachtern für vernetzte Systeme. Seit 2021 Forschungsgruppenleiter im Bereich vernetzter Energiesysteme.
Private Interessen: Weinbau, Musik und Sport
Forschung
In meiner Forschung entwickle ich Methoden für die Erstellung von digitalen Zwillingen für Energiesysteme. Hierzu verheirate ich physikbasierte Methoden (z. B. Port-Hamiltonsche Systeme) mit datenbasierten Ansätzen (z. B. Künstliche Neuronale Netze). Die neu entwickelten Verfahren skalieren mit der Systemgröße und machen so die enorme Komplexität von Energiesystemen handhabbar.
