The publication on “Fuzzy Action-Masked Reinforcement Learning Behavior Planning for Highly Automated Driving” by Thomas Rudolf, Mingxiao Gao, Tobias Schürmann, Stefan Schwab and Sören Hohmann has been selected as one of the top 6 out of 80 accepted papers at the annual IEEE International Conference on Control, Automation and Robotics (ICCAR) 2022 and thus been nominated for the Best Paper Award. It contributes on how the training of a reinforcement learning decision making agent can be sped up to efficiently interact with a trajectory planner to solve autonomous driving tasks under traffic rules.
